Gloucester and Flying Fijians number eight Akapusi Qera said he did not agree with an excuse that they are given a short time to prepare for the Pacific Nation Cup.
Qera said that everyone should be ready for the call as it is an international arena.
Qera added that he is excited to be part of this years squad and is looking forward to the clash against Japan.
Qera along with Sam Matavesi who is the younger brother of Josh Matavesi were training with the Flying Fijians squad this morning at Nadroga.
The Flying Fijians will face Japan next Saturday at Churchill Park.
