The National Fire Authority is still yet to determine the cause of the fire that destroyed J Santaram Supermarket Bulk store at Robertson Road, Suva on Saturday.
The fire also destroyed the top floor of Lotus Garment's three‑storey building.
No one was injured in this fire.
Chief Fire Officer Qionilau Moceitai says that a little spark can trigger a large fire and therefore it is important for business owners to check their business and most importantly businesses should follow good housekeeping practices to avoid a fire from happening.
Meanwhile, the National Fire Authority is also investigating the fire which partially destroyed a double storey house at Alexander Street in Suva yesterday.
NFA was able to stop the fire from spreading to the bottom flat and nearby houses in the area.
No one was injured.
