Fiji to meet Blitzboks in Cape Town 7s cup quarters

The Fiji Airways men’s 7's team will face hosts South Africa in the Quarter final of the South Africa 7's.

Fiji defeated Samoa 38‑7 in their last pool match, Canada had earlier caused a major upset defeating Fiji 22‑14.

Canada had maintained a 12‑7 lead in the first half.

Fiji tries were scored by captain Jerry Tuwai and forward Amenoni Nasilasila.

Canada’s tries were scored by John Moonlight, Harry Jones while two tries were scored by Justin Douglas.

Fiji defeated Wales 28‑14 in their first pool match, they will face South Africa in the first quarterfinal at 11.04 tonight.

In other quarter finals, England will face New Zealand at 11.26pm, Canada take on France at 11.48pm while USA meets Argentina at 12.10am tomorrow.

The semifinals will start at 3.34am tomorrow while the final will be held at 6.44am tomorrow.
