Fiji National University’s College of Humanities and Education will next year roll out 8 new programmes beginning in the first semester.

FNU Chancellor, Ikbal Jannif says one of the new programmes that will be offered from next year is the Bachelor of Education – Early Childhood which has a tremendous demand in the job market.

Jannif adds that the programme will provide an opportunity to those already in the workforce to upgrade their qualification and upskill themselves.

The Fiji National University is continuously working with the Fiji Higher Education Commission to ensure that the University delivers the right skilled workers for this country through its programmes.

The Chancellor urged Education graduates to uphold the principles and obligations of the teaching profession.

He stressed that next to parents, teachers are the most important people in any student’s life.

180 teacher graduates received their qualifications from the Fiji National University’s College of Humanities and Education.
