Two men who allegedly raped their relatives in two separate incidents failed to show up in court today.
Both were on bail and their counsels told the court that they cannot make contact with them.
The first accused, a 32-year-old man is charged for allegedly raping his 14-year-old niece in Nasinu in May this year.
The second accused, a 34-year-old man is charged with a count each of rape and unlawful wounding of his 25-year-old defacto partner in February last year.
The court was told that the 34-year-old man and his two sureties’ phones are diverted and they cannot be located at their addresses.
Justice Hamza has told the state counsel to inform police to strictly execute the bench warrant adding that people cannot just disappear.
The cases have been adjourned to the 19th of next month.
