With only 7 hours remaining for 2012 to come to an end, the stage for the Annual Fiji street party with Vodafone and Fijivillage is all set and ready to welcome 2013.
A lot of hard work and designs have gone into the construction of the International standard stage which will extend into the crowd allowing people on the ground to get closer to their hosts.
Organizers Total Event Company manager Loretta Jackson said the final touches have been done and now they are just waiting to kick off the show in the next two hours.
Jackson also said that people should not worry about the weather.
She said that this party is for everyone to attend.
We also caught up with some members of the public on what they enjoy most about the annual street party.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Bus Operators Association has confirmed that bus service hours will be extended to the early hours of Tuesday morning to take people back to their destination.
The Annual Fiji Street Party with Vodafone and Fijivillage will be held from 7 at Albert Park.
