Rugby fans are expected to know today whether the national sevens team will take part in the Uprising sevens.
Tournament organizer Culden Kamea said he will meet with the Fiji Rugby Union today.
Digicel Fiji Sevens team assistant coach Timoci Wainiqolo earlier said they do not have any problem in taking part but the matter has to be discussed first with the head coach Alifereti Dere.
Last year’s tournament saw the rise of Deuba brothers Waisea Nayacalevu and Avenisi Vasuinubu.
The Uprising Sevens will be held on the 18th and 19th of next month at Churchill Park.
