8 homes in a remote farming settlement in Bua now have access to clean drinking water, after a borehole powered by a generator and 2 large water storage tanks, was supplied to them by government.
According to Vatu farmer Mohammed Faiyaz, their lives have been transformed as most used to travel 2 kilometers to the nearest creek for water.
Provincial administrator Bua Inoke Tagicakibau said the borehole and water tanks cost $15,000.
