Living conditions improve for Jittu estate families

Living conditions have vastly improved for members of Jittu estate.
This is according to one of the residents Savu Tawake in relation to some of the upgrading projects that are taking place in the community.
Tawake said projects such as the Lagilagi project by the People’s Community Network and assistance from the local government in providing land security, proper access to water and electricity have improved their living.
He said other issues that they are facing that would need to be addressed include conflicts among the community and eviction notices for the informal settlers.
