Nadi's plan to become Fiji's third city has been approved by the Ministry of Urban Development and Local Government.
This was confirmed by Council Special Administrator Aisea Tuidraki while highlighting some of the major plans of the Nadi Town Council for this year.
The process though he added will take time therefore they are working closely with the local government committee.
Meanwhile, Tuidraki said to build a resilient city the town’s critical issue of flooding is an area that also needs to be addressed.
