More than 100 houses have been completely destroyed by Tropical Cyclone Evan in the Northern Division.
This has been ascertained following initial assessment in the Northern Division.
According to Divisional Planning officer North, Alipate Bola, 101 houses have been completely destroyed in Bua, 19 in Macuata and 13 in Cakaudrove.
One hundred and ninety-five houses have been partially damaged in these three provinces.
He added that the schools in these three provinces sustained $355,000 worth of damage.
The Agricultural sector according to Bola has sustained $26 million damage however this figure is expected to decrease following a detailed report.
He also said that 80 percent of roads in the Northern Division is now accessible.
Two evacuation centers remain open in Bua.
