Early this morning 8 year old Joshua Chandra a child living at the Hilton Hostel unwrapped his Christmas present alongside those also physically challenged who now call the Hostel their home.
According to hostel matron Jacqueline Wright most were happy to receive presents and are now awaiting their special Christmas lunch.
Joshua who is completely blind according to Wright was abandoned at birth and today marks his third Christmas at Hilton Hostel.
Leading up to Christmas Wright added that many charitable organisations and banks brought special gifts to the hostel for the children.
Today she is also grateful to her family members who are volunteering to cook and share a special Christmas lunch with the children.
