Children attending schools in Nabouwalu in Bua will benefit from the newly built Bua Women’s Resource Center which will be opening this week.
The core product for this centre will be sewing of school uniforms that will benefit the children who are attending the 27 primary schools, 5 secondary schools and 1 infant school.
Apart from the sewing program, the centre will also provide business competency training for the women=s groups in Bua to undertake various income generating projects.
The Bua women will also be able to access information related to women=s health, leadership and gender equality through this centre.
Meanwhile, the $31,000 resource center in the Northern division is confirmed for opening by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama this week.
