Over 200 students use newly renovated school complex

More than 200 students of Veisaru Sanatan Dharam School in Ba are now studying in a newly renovated school complex.
Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary Dr. Brij Lal who opened the renovated school complex says the renovation was completed within 150 days with a budget of $141,842 under the supervision of Republic of Fiji Military Forces engineers.
The school has a roll of 216 students.
During the opening he also reiterated the latest government initiative such as free primary and secondary school education for all Fijian children.
He also reminded those present at the ceremony that for the first time this September students in secondary school who are 18 years and above will be voting.
