Two vessels that ran aground at the Suva Harbour during tropical Cyclone Evan have been re-floated.
This is according to the Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji who say the vessels Capitaine Tasman and Star Ford were anchored in the Suva Harbour on Monday ran aground during the same day lunch hour.
Both vessels were refloated on Tuesday which nullified any threat of oil spills into the harbour.
The vessels will still be subjected to underwater inspection, to ensure the hull of each vessel and its underwater gears are safe and intact for proceeding to sea.
