A 19yr old is in police custody after he was apprehended on Monday afternoon while allegedly stealing assorted liquor and cigarettes in a Lautoka supermarket at the height of Cyclone Evan.
Elsewhere in Lautoka Police intercepted two similar cases during the height of Cyclone Evan at a major hardware outlet store and supermarket.
All three suspects are now in custody for interrogation.
With another 40 officers deployed to the Western Division to beef up operations, Police are warning people not to try and take advantage of the situation as police presence is high.
