In the past 24 hours more than 200 drivers have been booked for speeding infringements.
According to the Traffic operations conducted throughout the divisions 211 drivers were booked for speeding, 10 for careless driving, and five drivers were arrested for drunk driving.
A total of 2,484 drivers went through random breathalyser tests.
Eight drivers were caught for not wearing seat-belts, two were booked for carrying excess passengers, 80 drivers were caught for other running offences.
There were a total of 311 infringements as total of 3,621 vehicles were intercepted.
Traffic operations continue throughout the division and the Police are once again calling on all road users to comply with road rules so that we everyone can have a safe and enjoyable long Easter weekend.
