The Fiji National Rugby League’s bid for another successful Rugby League World Cup faces a major boost as the Ministry of Youth and Sports has set aside around $56,000 to help them prepare for the tournament.
FNRL General Manager Tomy Finau said the funds will help them in getting all the top players to represent Fiji in the World Cup in October.
Meanwhile, all the local players will march into camp today and will have their fitness test tomorrow.
The Rugby League World Cup kicks off on the 26th of October in England with Fiji taking on Ireland in their first match.
