Some good news this morning as destructive hurricane force winds will no longer be felt in any part of the country.

However, the threat of flooding still exists.

A gale warning remains in force for the Coral coast, Kadavu, Beqa, Vatulele and nearby smaller islands.

A strong wind warning remains in force for the rest of Fiji.

The Nadi weather office says a flood warning remains in force for people living near the low lying areas near the Wainibuka and Rewa River.
