A hurricane warning remains in force for the Coral Coast, Vatulele and nearby smaller islands.

Sever TC Evan category 4 was located about 120km south of Nadi or about 140km west south west of Suva at midnight.
Speaking to Fijivillage this morning, Nadi Weather Officer duty forecaster Terry Atalifo said the current weather condition is expected to ease from midday today.
Meanwhile a flood warning remains in force for Mainimala, Wainibuka and Waidina River and is now in force for the Rewa River, low lying areas of Nausori and the Rewa Delta.
A flood remains in force also for all low lying areas of Navua and the areas adjacent to the whole of the Navua river.

Outrigger on the Lagoon staff member Claire Steele said they have continually been experiencing very strong winds and heavy rain from last night until this morning.
Lautoka:
Speaking to Fijivillage in the last hour, Captain Withers Road resident Tabaki Seru said at the moment the wind and rain has softened in intensity.
