Four to appear in court charged with murder

Four men will appear in the Nadi Magistrates Court today charged with the alleged murder of a carpenter of Nadi earlier this week.

The four who are aged 45, 43, 31 and 30 have been charged with one count of murder each.

They are alleged to have assaulted the victim whereby he later died at the Lautoka Hospital.

The initial report of assault was reported at the Nadi Police Station when the victim was found lying injured at his house by his brother.

According to a Police report, it is alleged he was assaulted after being accused of practicing witchcraft.
