Some of the athletes preparing for the 2014 Coca Cola Games will get a chance to learn from two former US Olympic athletes.
Olympic gold medalist and four time world champion Dwight Phillips and three time Olympian Hazel Clark will conduct clinics for local coaches and student athletes at the Easter Games tomorrow.
Phillips was the 2004 Olympic champion in the long jump event and in 2009 jumped to his personal best of 8.74 metres making him the fifth best jumper of all time.
Clark was a member of the US Olympic team in 2000, 2004 and 2008 and specializes in the 800 metre dash and is also a Health and Wellness Ambassador.
Meanwhile, Albert Miller who is the chief organizer for the Easter Athletics Championship said some schools have already confirmed their participation.
