Tonga qualifies for Coral Coast 7s quarters

The Tonga Aoniu 7's team continued their fine performance in the Coral Coast 7's and has qualified for the cup quarterfinals after beating Davetalevu 17-5.

Laced with all their star players who featured in the IRB Sevens Series for Tonga with the likes of Samisoni Asi, Taniela Kilioni, Kilifi Latu and Ofa Finau as the Tongans scored three tries to claim top spot in pool C.

Tonga will meet Police in the third quarterfinal at 12.25pm today.

Meanwhile, in other quarterfinals, Davetalevu takes on Wardens Gold at 11.45am, Red Rock will play Westfield Babas at 12.05pm while the Aussie Thunderbolts will take on Naviti at 12.45pm.
