Man to be questioned for lying over police brutality

A man is expected to be brought in for questioning soon by police who said he was allegedly assaulted by police officers which was later proven to be false.
An investigation into the case of giving false information is being conducted in the Western Division.
Acting Commissioner of Police Ravi Narayan said giving false information to police officers is a serious concern and members of the public must know that there are consequences before the law.
