Three players who featured in the Hong Kong 7s have been dropped from the final 12 member Vodafone Fiji 7s side for the last leg of the World Series in Scotland and England.
The players are Setefano Cakau, Joeli Lutumailagi and Samu Saqiwa while Semi Kunatani, Leo Naikasau and Viliame Mata have been recalled.
Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan has retained the core of the side that took part in Hong Kong and Japan which include Apisai Domolailai, Benito Masilevu, Pio Tuwai, Emosi Mulevoro, Waisea Nacuqu, Donasio Ratubuli, Vatemo Ravouvou, Samisoni Viriviri and Osea Kolinisau who is also the captain of the side.
Ryan said this is the most difficult selection he has made so far because of the competition within the squad.
Ryan adds these last two tournaments will be special for speedster Samisoni Viriviri as he will leave for France at the end of the series.
It was a special moment as well for Apisai Domolailai who is celebrating his 25th birthday today.
The Vodafone Fiji 7s team is pooled with Wales, Argentina and Kenya in the Scotland 7s which will be held on the 3rd and 4th of next month. Story by: Akuila Cama
