A few families in Nalele and Vuninuku village in Cikobia Island have left their homes and moved to their relatives.
Nalele village headman Josaia Rasoso said are experiencing strong wind and rain this afternoon.
He said their next plan is for villagers to move to the evacuation centre if the need arises.
Vuninuku village headman Apaitia Cagituevei said they have already moved their elderly people to the Nursing station this morning.
He said at the moment the villagers are experiencing strong wind and some showers.
He added they have also stored water and food.
While in Vanua Levu, Saula Tuiqalau of Wainiika village in Cakaudrove said people leaving on the low line area have moved to higher grounds due to rough seas.
He said 60 people of Vatu village are now at their evacuation centres.
He added it is cloudy and a few showers and the wind has changed direction from the north to the east.
In Yasawa
Villagers in Yasawa I ra-ra are preparing for the tropical cyclone.
Village headman Setame Virivirisuva said that at the moment there is no sign of a cyclone but they have started storing water and food.
He said that they can only experience showers.
