Australian Thunderbolts rugby sevens coach, Michael O’Connor, has been forced to make two changes to his squad for the Uprising 7s.

Charlie Clifton comes in for the injured Jordan Tuapou, while Ben Adams replaces Nick Malouf.

O’Connor believes the side has a good balance of youth and experience.

The Thunderbolts will feature five members of the Australia 7s team that claimed the Bowl in South Africa, with Cameron Clark, Con Foley, Pama Fou, Laloifi Junior and Peter Lee.

Returning from injury are Lewis Holland and Shannon Walker.

The Thunderbolts are pooled with Lolo Lui’s Samoan side, Viliame Satala’s Lautoka Hurricanes and Nasoni Roko’s Samurai Barracudas.

Thunderbolts will play Lautoka Hurricanes at 11:04am Friday in their first game and you can catch live commentaries of selected matches on Viti FM.
