A new technological system has been implemented to treat waste water in Fiji which is funded by the Korean Environment Corporation to the value of $7000.
Various stakeholders attended a workshop in Lami today called the Low Cost Sewerage Treatment Technologies for rural water and sanitation.
While opening the workshop, Minister for Works, Transports and Public Utilities Timoci Natuva said this system will also improve the health standards for rural and urban dwellers.
The workshop is organized by the Korean Environment Corporation and the Department of Water and Sewerage as part of a signed Research Agreement.
