A family in Nawaicoba, Nadi, is still coming to terms with the loss of their 25-year-old son and brother who passed away just after midnight following a road accident at Nadovi junction along the Queens Road.
Neighbor Kuar Singh said the 25-year-old was the youngest among four siblings and was employed as a mechanic who was on his way home after working overnight.
Singh said the parents are still in shock as they had anticipated that their son will be going to work this morning.
He added that the neighbors are also shocked as they have known the family for the past 30 years and have been seeing the 25-year-old since he was a kid adding that he was a decent man.
The man sustained serious injuries which resulted in his death at the scene of the accident.
