We must all work together to build a united, better and stronger Fiji.
With the festival of lights to be celebrated tomorrow, the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said Diwali symbolizes the light we must all shine on our shortcoming as individuals, as a nation and overcome them.
In his Diwali message to the people of Fiji, Commodore Bainimarama said the essential message of Diwali is the triumph of good over evil, light is cast upon darkness and justice reigns over oppression.
He said it is a message of deep significance for all the Fijians.
He added that every child in Fiji grows with the sense of excitement about Diwali and all over the country candles are lit and Fijians celebrate with their families, friends and neighbors.
