Five evacuation centers have been reopened in Nadi to cater for eight homeless families.
According to DISMAC reports, a total of 45 evacuees are at the centers.
DISMAC said that a home was already completely damaged by a fire before Tropical Cyclone Evan and the owner had rebuilt a temporary shelter for them which was then completely destroyed by Tropical Cyclone Evan.
The owner cannot rebuild their home due to no source of income and no members of the family are working.
DISMAC is assisting these families.
