Save the Children Fiji is looking at $80,000 to assist needy children next year.
CEO Chandra Shekar said they have received some funds from local donors which will help assist 2,000 students with school stationary.
After the flood earlier this year Shekar said $14,000 students received the assistance such as school stationary, meals and hot lunch for five weeks.
He also said that they facilitate the operation of 42 kindergartens in the country.
