The Fiji rugby Sevens team has confirmed their participation in the richest sevens tournament in world history.
The Grand Prix Rugby Championship will be held in Los Angeles in July and will feature 24 teams who will play 60 games over three days for a world record purse of US $1,000,000.
Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer Manasa Baravilala said they were invited last year and they were also one of the first teams to confirm their participation.
Baravilala added that the tournament will be played two weeks after the rugby World Cup Sevens so it will not hinder their preparations for the Moscow tournament.
