The 65th anniversary celebration of Adi Cakobau School will culminate with a Sapphire theme gala ball this evening.
ACS Old Girls Public Relations Officer Ana Mataitoga said the week long anniversary marked many milestones for the ladies of Waimanu.
This week they unveiled the new name of their headquarters Charlton House, a property which they bought for half a million dollars.
The anniversary fundraiser she said as of yesterday has raised $127,000 which will go toward the repayment of Charlton House.
Mataitoga explained Charlton is named after the school’s first principal Lillian Charlton.
Meanwhile, there are 20 branches of the Adi Cakobau School Old Girls Association located throughout the world.
