One of the constraints faced in the agriculture sector is the poor economic infrastructure which is now solved.
Speaking at the Fiji Business Council meeting at Yanuca, team leader for the Pacific Horticultural and Agricultural market Richard Holloway said government’s $422 million allocation for roads next year is a huge encouragement to the hardworking farmers in the rural areas who do not have access to a good road.
Meanwhile, Holloway said the policy on the skills and training of the young farmers is very challenging.
