A 39-year-old driver of Nausori died as a result of injuries allegedly sustained while using a power tool yesterday.
A report lodged at the Nakasi Police station stated the man was allegedly using a grinder when the cutting disk broke and caused extensive injuries to his upper body.
He was rushed to the Nausori Health Centre but was pronounced dead on arrival.
A post mortem will be conducted soon.
Police are also advising the public to take precautions while using dangerous equipment.
