35% cost saving for bus operators

Bus operators choosing to use Digicel as an e-ticketing solution provider can expect a 35% in cost savings.

This said Digicel Fiji's Chief Executive Officer Maurice McCarthy while welcoming government opening up competition for the e-ticketing market-place.

According to McCarthy with savings of over 35%, bus operators will be able to reinvest it back into their businesses ultimately improving the transport system and benefitting the general public.  

Meanwhile Fiji Bus Operator Associations 2013 Annual General Meeting was opened this morning by the Permanent Secretary of Finance Filimoni Waqabaca.
