The Fiji National Provident Fund has confirmed the joint FNPF and FRCA cards will be a national identification card later this year.
FNPF Assistant General Manager Member Service Alipate Waqairawai confirmed that after June this year, the Tax Identification Number letter will no longer be used.
Waqairawai said it is important for people to register and get their joint ID cards to avoid disappointment when applying for assistance and also getting other government services.
Meanwhile, about 100 members and pensioners attended the FNPF forum in Labasa today.
