A 78-year-old man has been remanded in custody by the Rakiraki Magistrates Court for allegedly indecently assaulting a 4-year-old girl last year.
The alleged incident occurred on 18th October 2012.
A hearing took place before Magistrate Samuela Qica where the prosecution called in three witnesses.
The case has been adjourned to 6th June.
