Pacific Sun to service Vanuabalavu
It will be a welcome sight for the people in the Lau group just two days from Christmas with Pacific Suns first flight to touch down at Vanuabalavu airport tomorrow.

Tourism activities in islands in Lau would also be boosted with the flights to Vanuabalavu and Lakeba with plans to service other islands from next year.

Pacific Sun General Manager Manoa Kamikamica confirmed that the service will start with a one weekly flight and services to Vanuabalavu starts from tomorrow while flights into Lakeba will commence from December 31st.

Kamikamica said Pacific Sun is excited to start services to the eastern part of the Fiji group and there are plans to start services to Gau and Cicia in the new year.

He added that these routes have the potential to grow not only through domestic travel but also tourism traffic in conjunction with our national airline Air Pacific.
