Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama confirmed that he will reveal Fiji's roadmap to democracy within the next few days and work on a constitution will begin soon.
While speaking to villagers in Dawasamu, Tailevu North, Bainimarama said a constitution review team will soon be appointed to look at a new constitution and all the electoral changes.
He also told villagers at a packed hall at Dawasamu District School that when the constitution was abrogated by President Ratu Josefa Iloilo on April 10th, nothing much changed.
The prime minister said there was a little change but all the laws were brought back through decrees.
He also told the villagers that Fiji is now being run by decrees and Bainimarama said he wants people to understand that the law is still alive and anyone who breaks the law will be taken to task by the police.
