52 year old farmer’s body found floating in Vorovoro River

The body of a 52-year-old farmer of Dawasamu was found floating in the Vorovoro River on Friday morning.
The man was last seen with a friend returning from a nearby village.
Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro said the man had allegedly separated from his friend beside the river while his friend continued back to their village.
The body was discovered after a search was conducted when the wife enquired about her husband’s whereabouts.
Police are now awaiting for the post mortem result.
No injuries have been reported after a pilot and six other passengers were unharmed in the Yasawa Aerodrome incident that took place yesterday.
