2 taken in for questioning following sacking of some resort workers
Two people have been taken in for questioning in relation to a situation which got out of hand following the sacking of some resort workers on Naviti Island in Yasawa yesterday.

Police Chief of Operations, ACP Rusiate Tudravu confirmed that the two were taken in after they assaulted the owner of the resort.

Tudravu said 16 people were sacked by the resort yesterday.

He said these workers were terminated as they were inconsistent with their work and due to their performance.

He added that police will not condone any breach of laws.
