“I have no evidence of corruption in the bus industry”, that is according to Fiji Bus Operators President Richard Lal.
His comments come in response to the Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum saying that there has been a lot of corruption in the bus industry pulling the association back and causing problems.
Lal said that the Attorney General may know something he does not know and that whoever has the evidence must take it forward.
He added that as a transparent body they are always encouraging people to be transparent or refrain from conducting illegal practices.
