Flying Fijians Coach Ilivasi Tabua has revealed that there will be no difference in the level of competition in the Pacific Nations Cup, after revelations that champions the New Zealand Maori would not be taking part next season.
Tabua said that the second string Junior All Blacks side will provide as much challenge as the NZ Maori but is adamant that the game will be entertaining.
The New Zealand Rugby Union have today announced that the NZ Maori side will be trimmed by $1 million and that they would be replaced in the PNC by the Junior All Blacks.
Meanwhile, Australia A has pulled out from next season's PNC and this has left the competition with only five teams in the Cup, the Junior All Blacks, Japan, Samoa, Tonga and Fiji.
