Miss SCC says Hibiscus festival a good way to raise social issues
As the Vodafone Hibiscus gets underway, Queen contestant Kereayani Gavidi said festivals are a good way of raising social issues.

Gavidi who is sponsored by Suva City Council said she entered not so much of the pageant but to show people what she is passionate about which is creative art and how it can be useful in advocating on Non Communicable Diseases in Fiji.


The 25-year-old who recently graduated from USP said the hibiscus festival is a really good chance for all contestants to utilize this platform to raise social issues to the people.

Meanwhile, the Teens Public Judging is at 6pm while the Ladies Public Judging is at 6.30pm today.
