The request for a one week Annual Conference for the Methodist Church will be decided by the Commissioner of Police.
Chief of Operations ACP Rusiate Tudravu said Police Commissioner Iowane Naivalurua will meet with the General Secretary of the Church Reverend Tevita Nawadra.
The meeting that is to be held this week will also discuss the choir competition.
Reverend Tevita Nawadra said although the preparations are currently underway, the church will give a progress report to the Commissioner of Police on what the standing committee will decide.
The date for the annual conference is yet to be confirmed.
