Three people, who were allegedly involved in the $86,000 robbery at Nand’s Mall car park in Nabua on Monday afternoon, are still being questioned.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu said they are yet to establish the amount of cash recovered.

Tudravu added charges against the suspects are expected to be laid soon.

A 32-year-old salesman was robbed of more than $49,000 cash and cheques worth $37,904.65 while on a bank run to the Westpac Nabua branch.

The suspects threatened the victim with a kitchen knife and later fled in a taxi which was later abandoned in Nabua.
