The Prime Minister said he is not concerned about statements made by the Citizens Constitution Forum's Reverend Akuila Yabaki that Fiji should not use the MSG for it's own self interest.
Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said NGO's like the CCF are funded by overseas donors and he knows that the donors dictate on what the NGO's should say.
Yabaki has also called on Commodore Bainimarama to have elections by 2014.
The Prime Minister said he wants elections to be held in Fiji in 2014 but a lot of work needs to be done and it is only realistic that there will be delays if there is continued obstruction and interference by countries like Australia and NZ.
He stressed that he does not want to delay the elections but he said all the reforms have to be completed before Fiji has elections under a truly democratic system.
Commmdore Bainimarama said the government will not just relinquish power and allow having elections with a weak foundation and under an undemocratic electoral system.
Meanwhile the Prime Minister also said the Samoan Prime Minister's recent comments that he should give up his post and tougher action should be taken against Fiji, are useless.
