Digicel Fiji is now in a position to formally engage with bus operators and looks forward to doing so in the coming days.
This is according to Digicel Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Maurice McCarthy following Government's announcement of opening up the e-ticketing market to competition on Tuesday.
McCarthy added that the move will result in a better grade of service at a competitive price.
According to McCarthy the company is also looking at different card options to determine how they can make it more affordable for customers in the short, medium and long term.
Meanwhile in moving Fiji towards a competitive e-ticketing sector, Digicel thanks the government and other key stakeholders on their inclusion.
